Dave Duerson Athletic Safety Fund, Inc. is proud to announce the newest member of the Board of Directors. Joe Edwards has graciously joined our organization as Vice President.
Joe has been a supporter of Dave Duerson since 1975 when Dave started high school at Muncie Northside. Joe continued following Dave at Notre Dame and throughout his NFL career with the Chicago Bears, New York Giants, and Phoenix Cardinals.
Joe is a Graduate of Muncie Northside High School (1975). He obtained B.A. degrees in Political Science, Latin, and Economics from Ball State University in 1979

Joe furthered his education by obtaining a J.D. (Juris Doctor degree) from Indiana University School of Law 1982
Joe has written several Indiana statutes in the areas of tax and sheriff sales, provided expert testimony to Senate and House Committees, coordinated and presented workshops and seminars at over one hundred state and national conferences in more than a dozen states. Joe has also used his professional auctioneering skills to conduct thousands of government auctions.
Joe lives in downtown Indianapolis and has four children and one grandchild.
